The Priority Box still sits in a plastic tub, still here from the 10th of July. Some one did put a "hazmat" note on it.

I sent a Priority Mail package to CA once. It spent a couple of weeks in Puerto Rico, according to the tracking software. I have no idea why. It did arrive, eventually.
